HERBS BEFORE MEALS
Are called-Agni Deepana-supports digestive and gastric function, activates digestive enzymes, promotes absorption of nutrients, clears excess mucus from the body:
· Warm Digest increases the digestive fire and your body’s own digestive enzymes to improve digestion. It is helpful for flatulence, malabsorption, nausea and indigestion. 1/4 tsp. Trikatu reconstituted in warm water before meals.
· Cool Digest cools the irritated mucosa of the stomach wall and counteracts excessive stomach acid if you experience occasional heat, heartburn, acidity or indigestion. 1/2 tsp. Trikatu/triphala blend reconstituted in warm water before meals.
HERBS AFTER MEALS
Are called--Ama Pachana-they helps the body properly digests toxins and eliminates them from the body.
· Chew 1/4 tsp of roasted fennel and cumin seeds with dry ginger after each meal.
Liver Detox Tea consume daily between the hours of 8am-4 pm.
Tea instructions: bring 1 quart of water to a boil. Add 1 tbsp. of tea blend (whole fennel, coriander, cumin, turmeric, ginger, cardamom) to a boil for several minutes and strain into a thermos. Sip throughout the day.
